2. About Banyoles

Banyoles is in Pla de l'Estany, Catalonia. The town is not very big and the most important thing of Banyoles is the lake. In Banyoles there is a lot of tourism related with the sport. The lake is beautiful and you can go walking or running around the lake, practise rowing and canoeing and see the ducks and the swans. My favourite places are the lake and the square. Banyoles is about 20 km from Girona. There are public transports and a touristic train.
